Real Testimonies from Real Elevate Employees!

When there is a healthy and balanced concern for Profit, Altruism and Giving back you have a business recipe for success. I signed on 16 years ago not knowing any of that but stayed because of it.  I love who I work WITH and who I work FOR and drive from Tulsa to work because of it. It’s that simple” -Jane Storm, COTA

Having worked in various settings as an Occupational Therapist, I am on my 17th year as a full -time pediatric OT at Summit/Elevate Pediatric Therapies. The top 5 reasons I continue to work at this company are: 1) patient focused 2)cohesive teamwork between the therapists 3) supportive leadership 4) flexible work schedule 5) growth within the company due the quality of therapy services that are provided on a daily basis.”-Anita Sen-Fields, OTR/L

I’ve worked for Elevate/Summit for over 14 years as a pediatric speech pathologist. My journey began as an intern in graduate school. I was hired as an SLP-CF (1st year SLP’s have a mentor) and have been in both the clinic and school settings since! I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from many amazing colleagues at Elevate/Summit, enabling me to consider not only how I can improve communication, but understanding the behavior, sensory needs, executive functioning skills, and the unique background and needs of each patient/student as an integral part of the puzzle! There is so much JOY in being a speech pathologist and there is not another career I’d rather have or company I’d rather work for!”-Jennifer Swinney, SLP

In my nearly 15 years at Elevate, I have learned and grown so much as a physical therapist. I have enjoyed the flexibility of working in different settings which has helped me have more balance between work and family. My favorite part is probably my co-workers, who are supportive, collaborative, and fun! I love being part of such a great team.” Erin Newsome, DPT

At Elevate Pediatric Therapies (formerly Summit Pediatric Therapies), I have been supported as I have developed my passions as a speech language pathologist. In my 18 years here, I have been mentored, challenged, grown immensely and able to mentor new therapists. Some of my absolute favorite things about this company is that it is therapist owned, family friendly, they support growth within each profession with a generous continuing education allowance for all therapists and they support the community with time and money and facilitate those opportunities for staff as well. My fellow therapists are compassionate, empathetic and exceptional at what they do. And even better, they expect the same from each other which leads to a supportive and collaborative work environment. The flexibility of the company allowed me to successfully balance the career that I love with my family that always takes priority. Although there is no perfect place to work, Elevate has been perfect for me!”-Kym Claborn, M.S., CCC-SLP

I had the pleasure of completing my clinical fellowship (CF) year in speech language pathology at Elevate Pediatric Therapies (formerly Summit Pediatric Therapies) almost 13 years ago. Not only did I receive excellent mentorship from my direct clinical supervisor, but I have also been surrounded by many other skilled clinicians who were more than willing to collaborate and share their experiences with me. While working for Elevate Pediatrics, I have worked with a diverse caseload that allowed me to build on my clinical skills and gain competence in working with a variety of pediatric clients with many diagnoses as well as in different settings, a clinic and public school. Through the support of my fellow clinicians, supervisors, and owners, my skills have grown and developed to turn me into the SLP I am today. It has been such a blessing to work for such an amazing company from the beginning of my career. “-Danielle Jordan MS CCC-SLP

It’s hard to believe I’ve been with Elevate Pediatric Therapies (Summit) almost 10 years. Time flies when you’re having fun! I enjoy getting to know the dedicated parents and precious children who frequent our clinic, and its such a please to work with top-notch people every day whose common goal is to better the lives of children. I have the best job in the world! -Twyla Overton, Front Office Coordinator

If I could only choose one word to describe my last two years working at Elevate it would be ‘teamwork’. I love going to work every day knowing that I get to collaborate and learn from other SLP, OT and PTs!”-Abby Satterfield, M.S CCC-SLP
